T8 housings are available in aluminum-plastic housings, all-plastic housings, IP65 waterproof housings, and glass housings, with a diameter of 26mm and standard lengths of 600/900/1200/1500mm. Special lengths may be required for some special applications.

For example, in office lighting solutions, including offices, meeting rooms, and office buildings, high-brightness T8 luminaires with milky-white PC diffusers are used to prevent glare and provide uniform lighting. If upgrading existing T8 fluorescent tubes, the existing brackets can be directly modified without rewiring. If you have this need, we can discuss solutions together.

Many clients also provide solutions for supermarkets, convenience stores, and retail shelves. These locations require not only high brightness but also a high color rendering index, thus favoring transparent/semi-transparent PC housings, which also improves the luminous efficacy of the lamps.

These can utilize radar-sensored T8 fluorescent tubes to achieve a high-brightness (high brightness when people are present) and low-brightness (low brightness when people leave) energy-saving solution. IP65 Waterproof and Dustproof T8 Housing (Generally using an all-plastic + internal aluminum housing)

Some applications require waterproofing, dustproofing, and protection against humid, dusty, and low-temperature environments, such as food processing plants, assembly lines, and car washes. Lighting fixtures in these locations have higher requirements. We generally recommend customers use an all-plastic + internal aluminum T8 housing. This structure, combined with waterproof end caps, enables the entire fixture to achieve an IP65 rating. We have developed many products with this structure, ranging from low to high wattage, basically covering market needs.

Among these tri-proof T8 housing solutions, the most popular now is the plant grow light housing solution.
