Our LED tri-proof lamp fixtures are made from extruded 6063 aluminum alloy. Why 6063? Because of its superior thermal conductivity. We don't just slap on a layer of aluminum. The back of the housing features deep heat dissipation fins, providing a large surface area to effectively dissipate heat from the LED. Overheated LEDs reduce brightness and shorten lifespan, while undercooled LEDs last longer. We also anodize the aluminum. This electrochemical treatment makes the surface hard, scratch-resistant, and corrosion-resistant. Salt spray test? 500 hours. No pitting corrosion was observed.
Next is the diffuser—a transparent or milky white cover used to diffuse light. Our diffusers are made from polycarbonate (German and American engineering-grade plastic) from Bayer or SABIC. Polycarbonate is tough—a physical property of the raw material. We've also added a UV-resistant coating to the outside because sunlight can cause cheap plastic to yellow within two years if installed outdoors. Our products stay crystal clear for years to come.
End Caps—They're made of the same PC material, but the key is this: we mold a silicone gasket into a precision-cut groove. This gasket isn't glued or pasted on; it's mechanically secured in place. When you tighten the end cap, the gasket is evenly compressed, creating a perfect seal. No gaps, no leaks.
Screws and Clips—Made of 304 Stainless Steel. Every screw, every mounting clip, is made of 304 stainless steel. Not galvanized or nickel-plated steel. Because in humid environments, ordinary steel screws will rust and jam. That would prevent you from opening the light fixture for maintenance. Made of 304 stainless steel, even after five years, you can unscrew it as easily as if it were brand new.
