Applications of Polycarbonate Tubes in Industrial Lighting

Last time we looked at the applications of polycarbonate tubes in linear and special-purpose lighting. Today, let's look at their applications in industrial lighting.

First, there's tri-proof lighting. Tri-proof refers to waterproof, dustproof, and explosion-proof. Due to the high strength and impact resistance of polycarbonate tube raw materials, it is often used as a protective cover and light diffuser for tri-proof lighting fixtures, ensuring waterproof, dustproof, and explosion-proof performance even in harsh environments, thus extending the lifespan of the fixtures.

Secondly, there are applications in outdoor lighting. For example, some courtyard lights and walkway lights also use polycarbonate tubes as lampshades, which are waterproof and rainproof to withstand severe weather and other potential hazards.

Finally, there are applications in emergency lighting and signage. For instance, polycarbonate tubes are used as diffusers for safety exit signs and emergency lights to ensure they remain clearly visible and durable in emergencies.
