IP65 waterproof LED tube housing plays a vital role in plant lighting, especially in planting scenarios that need to deal with humid, spraying or even flooding environments. The following are its specific application scenarios.
1. Greenhouse supplementary lighting:
High humidity environment: The humidity inside the greenhouse is usually very high, especially at night or in winter. Ordinary lamps are easily affected by moisture, resulting in short circuits, damage or reduced light efficiency. The waterproof lamp housing effectively isolates water vapor to ensure that the lamps can operate stably in a humid environment.
2. Near the sprinkler system: The sprinkler and spray systems of the greenhouse will produce a large amount of water mist or water droplets. The waterproof housing (especially IP65/IP66 grade) can prevent water from directly entering the lamp body and avoid electrical failures.
3. Top-mounted drip-proof: The lamp tube installed on the top of the greenhouse may encounter condensation dripping from the top. The waterproof housing can resist the impact of this dripping water.
4. Cleaning environment: When the greenhouse is cleaned regularly, the lamps may be splashed or even rinsed with water. The waterproof design ensures that the lamps can withstand this cleaning operation.
5. Vertical Farms:
Multi-layer Planting Racks: Vertical farms are compact, and water from irrigation or spraying on the upper level can easily drip onto the lamps on the lower level. Waterproof lamp tubes are a must to ensure the safety of the lamps on the lower level.
Nutrient Solution Atomization/Spraying System: Hydroponic or Aeroponic Systems produce water mist or droplets rich in nutrient solution, which are conductive and corrosive. Waterproof housings not only prevent physical water ingress, but also protect the internal circuits from corrosive liquids.
High-density environmental humidity control: Vertical farms usually precisely control high humidity environments to optimize plant growth, and lamps must be able to withstand this continuous high humidity.
6. Hydroponic/Aquaponics Systems:
Directly exposed above the water environment: Lamps are usually installed directly above the sink or planting bed, and nutrient solution splashes, splashes caused by fish activities, and even system leaks may directly contact the lamps. Waterproof lamp tube housings are a basic guarantee for safe operation.
Prevent nutrient solution corrosion: The nutrient solution has a complex composition, and once it penetrates into the lamp, it will corrode electronic components and circuits. Waterproof housings provide a physical barrier.
7. Mushroom house:
Ultra-high humidity environment: Mushrooms need extremely high humidity of more than 90% to grow. Ordinary lamps have a very short life and high failure rate in such an environment. Waterproof lamps are the standard configuration for mushroom house lighting.
Spraying/fog: Frequent spraying or fogging is required to maintain humidity, and lamps must be able to withstand a continuous humid environment.
8. Outdoor plant factory/experimental field lighting:
Rain protection: In a partially covered or semi-open environment, lamps need to be able to withstand natural rainfall. IP65/IP66 waterproof lamps can meet this requirement.
