Characteristics of Plant Factory- High Crop Yield

Through high-precision control of the plant growth environment, plant growth is hardly restricted by natural conditions and the growth cycle is shortened. Nowadays, lettuce, Chinese cabbage, etc. grown in factories can be harvested in about 20 days, while in open field cultivation it takes one month to 40 days. In addition to a short growth cycle, high space utilization and uninterrupted production all year round are important features of plant factories. Plant factories have the advantages of three-dimensional cultivation. The number of layers of cultivation modules increases with the height of the factory building. In Zhongke San'an's fully artificial light plant factory, the number of cultivation layers in the factory is adjustable within 10 layers, and leaf vegetable production can be carried out 15 to 20 times a year. The output per unit area is equivalent to 70 to 100 times that of open field cultivation.
