Digital full artificial light LED seedling factory

Project Introduction:

The project covers an area of about 30 acres and has been completed. It does not require sunlight at all and is fully enclosed and digitally managed. It is a seedling workshop, sowing workshop, grafting workshop, grafted seedling healing workshop, germination room, plant growth laboratory, An LED light seedling factory consisting of a tissue culture workshop, an automated production control room, an LED plant light R&D center, and a seedling storage greenhouse. Among them, the nursery room covers an area of more than 1,000 square meters and is in normal operation. It has the production capacity to breed 326,000 vegetable seedlings at the same time and 5.2224 million vegetable seedlings annually.


The project has three core technologies:

(1) High-efficiency and energy-saving LED plant lights;

(2) Multi-layered three-dimensional intelligent tidal seedbed;

(3) An automated computer control system suitable for digital all-artificial light LED light seedling production, independently developed and manufactured, with 100% independent intellectual property rights.


LED grow lights are efficient and energy-saving. Each lamp is 25 W, red and blue light ratio: 5:1, red light wavelength (600-650nm), blue light (450-460nm), each seedling is illuminated for 10 hours a day, and the power consumption is 0.0056 degrees. Calculated based on the electricity price of 0.73 yuan/kWh: the average electricity cost for cultivating each seedling does not exceed 0.0048 yuan/day. The LED plant lamp adopts a new heat dissipation structure, which greatly increases the heat dissipation area and improves the heat dissipation efficiency. The fully enclosed structure is waterproof, moisture-proof, and dust-proof, which avoids the hazards of short circuit and electric shock caused by dust and water vapor, which greatly improves the efficiency of heat dissipation. Improved security.


The digital fully enclosed physical method is used to isolate the harm of diseases and insect pests to the seedlings, and the temperature and humidity of each nursery workshop are well controlled to reduce airborne diseases without the use of pesticides, hormones and other chemicals. Thanks to the use of self-cleaning water filters, ozone water disinfection generators and other devices, the entire factory achieves zero discharge of waste gas, sewage and waste. The use of multi-layer three-dimensional tidal nursery beds makes full use of space and greatly saves land resources.


All production equipment in the factory are controlled by computers. It can accurately control the lighting time, temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide concentration of each seedling workshop, and can monitor the operating status of LED plant lights in each seedling workshop in real time, as well as the temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide content in the seedling workshop. It can also carry out precise and digital automatic control of irrigation, fertilization, water recycling and treatment, etc. The cultivation of seedlings is no longer affected and restricted by natural conditions, the production is highly planned, safe, and the production cycle is short. The quantity and quality of seedlings, land utilization rate are significantly improved, and production costs are significantly reduced.


The project team has established a total of 3 fully artificial light plant nursery factory cucumber seedling demonstration bases in Kecheng District, Quzhou City. The demonstration results of each base have consistently shown that: in winter and spring, LED plant factories are used to grow eggplants, gourds and other vegetable and fruit seedlings. Planting can not only greatly shorten the seedling breeding cycle and speed up production progress, but also effectively improve agronomic traits, increase the number of female flowers and fruits per plant, and effectively increase the yield per unit area, thus increasing the economic benefits of farmers. Since LED light source seedlings have good growth performance in the field and obvious yield increase effects, the demonstration base has exerted a good demonstration radiation effect and promoted the promotion and application of LED light source seedlings.


Industrialized, standardized, and modularized factories and equipment are very convenient for the replication and promotion of seedling factories, and serve as a demonstration for the digital and professional development of agricultural production.
