The principle and process of light PC diffuser

The principle of light PC diffuser: through chemical or physical means, using the physical imagination of refraction, reflection and scattering when light encounters two media with different refractive indices on the way, it is widely used in liquid crystal display, LED lighting and imaging display systems;

The process of light PC diffuser includes extrusion molding and roller embossing composite technology and hot embossing method to prepare light diffusion microstructure technology.

The introductions are as follows:

1. Extrusion molding and roller embossing composite technology,

(a). The extrusion rolling method uses an extruder to manufacture PC sheets, and at the same time, different types of light-diffusing particles can be added to the PC sheets to prepare light-diffusing sheets with different effects.

(b). At the same time, this technology can be used to emboss the microstructure with light PC diffuser effect on the PC board, realizing the combination of light diffusion particles and microstructure. The PO and PMMA particle board is manufactured through an extruder, and then the microstructure on the roller is transferred to the extruded board to realize the preparation of the diffusion film.

2. Preparation of light-diffusing microstructure technology by hot embossing method

The hot embossing method is to prepare microstructures on the surface of the mold, and then transfer the microstructures on the surface to the surface of the polymer by embossing to form the required microstructures.

(a) The thermoplastic film is spin-coated on the surface of the substrate;

(b) Heated to make the temperature reach the glass transition temperature of the material, and the master plate is pressed on the surface of the film to form the film;

(c) Demoulding; 

(d) Etching cleaning remove residual layer.
