Matters needing attention after extrusion production of aluminum profiles for LED tube housings

JE company extrudes a lot of aluminum profile on the machine every day. Are you curious about how our company ensures the quality and stability of aluminum extrusion? In fact, every step of the extrusion process is very important. Today, the editor will introduce to you the precautions after the aluminum extrusion of our JE company:

 

(1) After the mold is unloaded from the machine, put it into the alkali tank for cooking when it is cooled to 150-180°C, because the mold is easily cracked by the impact of heat waves when it is boiled in alkali at high temperature. And the advanced etching method should be used to recycle and save alkali, shorten the corrosion time and realize pollution-free cleaning;

(2) When the mold repairer of the aluminum profile extrusion mold assembles the split mold, he should gently beat it with a copper rod, and it is not allowed to use a big hammer to slam it, so as to avoid excessive force and damage the mold;

(3) Before nitriding the aluminum profile extrusion die, the working belt of the die hole needs to be carefully polished to a surface roughness of Ra0.80.4μm;

(4) The aluminum profile extrusion dies are required to be cleaned before nitriding, and oil stains are not allowed to be brought into the furnace; the nitriding process should be reasonable (depending on the characteristics of the equipment and the mold material), and the surface hardness after nitriding is HV900-1200. If the nitride layer is too thick and too hard, it will cause the nitride layer to peel off. A set of molds generally allows nitriding 3 to 5 times; complex high-tooth radiator profile molds do not carry out nitriding process;

(5) New molds, bar molds and round pipe molds of old products can be directly nitrided without trial mold; new products and complex profile molds must pass the trial mold before nitriding treatment can be carried out;

(6) After the new aluminum profile extrusion die test is qualified, at most 10 ingots should be extruded and then unloaded for nitriding treatment to avoid pulling the working belt out of the groove; excessive production should not be allowed between two nitriding, generally The flat die is 60-100 ingots, and the split mold is 40-80 ingots. Too many will pull the nitride layer through.

(7) After the used aluminum profile extrusion mold is polished, it is stored in the warehouse with oil.
